Sorry Nationwide, Ohio Health, and all the other big corporations in Columbus, JPMorgan Chase employees are the only ones getting hooked up with a new commute shuttle.

Ford’s Chariot service which provides shuttles to large employers in cities including San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Austin will soon expanded to Columbus. Initially, the fleet of 14-seat vans will only serve JPMorgan Chase’s 400 Corporate Center employees in Polaris. The shuttles will begin operating daily starting January 22 from 6am to 10am and then again from 4pm to 8pm. There will be six different routes to cover several residential areas.

Chariot’s Columbus operation is part of our “Smart Columbus” program.

“The program is intended to demonstrate how integrated technologies, including connected infrastructure, autonomous cars, smart mobility services and more can work together to build a better transportation network, reports techcrunch.com.
