The victims of Ohio State fair ride malfunction will be getting paid from the state of Ohio but we’re not sure how much—that’s confidential.

A settlement was reach today between those injured and killed on the Fire Ball ride and the state and the Ohio Expositions commission. The amount and other terms of the settlement were not disclosed, according to 10TV. 

Seven people were injured when the the gondola tore apart from the rest of the ride, throwing the riders into the air on opening day of the Ohio State Fair on July 26. Tyler Jarrell, 18, was killed in the accident.
