Man arrested in connection with attempted Olentangy trail stabbings

A man has been arrested in connection with two attempted stabbings along the Olentangy Trail.

10TV reports he was taken into custody near The Boathouse at Confluence Park.

The suspect allegedly tried to stab a bicyclist and a jogger near West 3rd Avenue and Olentangy.

This news comes after two women reported being approached by a knifeman on the Olentangy Trail last Tuesday. 

Police did not immediately identity the suspect.
