A filet mignon grade cut of real estate on Capitol Square has been acquired and is destined for a mixed-use future. Columbus Business First reports high-end condos and ground floor retail space are planned for the vacant five-story building that sits between The Columbus Dispatch and Rhodes Tower. It’s exact address is 60 E. Broad St. and the development will be called 60 on Broad.

The condos will be highly-customizable so residents will have full control over the layout of their homes. Developers are looking to land a bar or coffee shop on the first floor. They also say there’s potential for an events space and national chain storefronts.

The Briton Group development team that acquired the building told CBF one of the most enticing aspects of deal was the view of the Statehouse.
