“Rare” parcel in German Village could be destination for stay-cation

What Columbus Business First describes as “a rare commercial parcel” in German Village could be the location of a brand new hotel AKA your next stay-cation destination.

A one-story stucco building at 33 E. Livingston Ave. is the apple of architect Jonathan Barnes’ eye. He presented a plan to the German Village Commission where the building would be demolished as well as the attached parking lot and adjacent parcel and in its place would be a five-story, 129-room hotel.

If approved by the German Village Commission, the hotel would sit on the northwest corner of the block facing Livingston and Pearl Street. Columbus Business First reports the hotel would be L-shaped.
