Kroger has launched an app to help you shop smarter, not harder.

The goal of the app is to help customers when it comes to health and wellness.

OptUP gives each grocery item a score from 1-100 which correlates to a level of nutrition it provides—green category score 71 or better, yellow category range is 36-70, red category ranges from 1-35.

Kroger’s team of registered dietitians recommend customers have a mix of all three colors in their cart with at least 50 percent green category products.

“Kroger’s new OptUP app is transformational for the food retail industry,” Collen Lindholz, Kroger’s president of pharmacy and the Little Clinic, said in a new release, per Columbus Business First. “The app puts nutritional information at your fingertips and makes finding and buying better-for-you products easier and simpler.”

The app is free and available via the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

OptUP scores range from 0 to 1000, reflecting a customer’s purchase history over the past eight weeks. The ideal score is 600 or better.

Other key features of OptUp:

  • Receiving personalized product recommendations
  • Viewing your household OptUP score
  • Adding better-for-you options to your digital cart for curbside pickup or delivery
