WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Primary Duty: Assist Operations Manager in the execution and maintenance of physical operation of All American Moving & Storage.

Please note this is an on hand, physical position. This job is primarily done in the warehouse with the staff, not at a desk.

This includes assisting with, and at times fully executing the duties below, but is not limited to the following:

Receiving in all inbound loads, following proper procedure to avoid missing freight, and providing paperwork to office in a timely manner.
Supervise deluxing furniture for next day's delivery routes. Also will be responsible for final check at end of the day to verify accuracy and quality.
Oversee recycling operation to make sure all possible trash is recycled rather than disposed in the dumpster.
Follow returns process for all delivery clients.
Assist move and delivery crews with getting off the dock in the morning.
In charge of managing all warehouse personnel, as well as any field workers that may be working in the warehouse at any particular time. This includes assisting with hiring, firing, scheduling, training, disciplining, and rewarding.
Responsible for equipment and material inventory.
Implement program(s) for damage control.
Maintain location inventory of all items in warehouse, and assist office with dock searches to resolve issues.
Keep warehouse in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
Manage reschedule area to make sure all items are delivered in an efficient time frame.
Complete customer pickups.
Order and distribute needed supplies.
Operate forklift.
Ensure all loose items are placed in their respective locations within 24 hours of being on dock
Maintaining returns inventory on a daily basis, and conducting weekly audit to ensure accuracy.
Other duties necessary for smooth operation of the warehouse.
This position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week M-F, although it may require additional hours, or a weekend day during peak season, or other periods of peak growth. All American does not work on any major holidays. This position will be directly supervised by both the Operations Manager and the Asst. Operations Manager.

PAY STRUCTURE:

Annual salary of $31,200.00 Plus anticipated bonus of $3,000-$5,000 annually

Bonus to be based on prior quarter’s sales and gross margin. Quarterly bonus to be paid starting no earlier than the second pay day of the SECOND month following the quarter. (Ex: 1st Qtr bonus paid no earlier than the 2nd payday in MAY, 2nd Qtr bonus paid no earlier than the 2nd payday in AUGUST, etc.). To be eligible for bonus you must work for the entire previous quarter, as well as be employed by All American on the payout date.

Benefits:

Personal time: 1st year=1 wk, 2nd – 4th yrs = 2 wks, 5+ years = 3 wks. Personal time is accrued after each pay period and may be used at any time.
Due to salaried status, all major holidays that fall during the week will be considered a paid holiday.

Forklift experience
Box truck experience
Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Excel and Web Portals
