Jumping on the no smoking bandwagon, Columbus State will join the list of campuses that are tobacco and smoke free. The ban will go into effect next year, according to the Dispatch. When the ban goes into place, students and employees tobacco products will be forbidden across all campus property including sidewalks and private cars. But also like many smoking bans, these rules won’t be enforced except for the campus do-gooder or reminders from other campus officials.
