Arts leader praises Cbus art scene
Jane Chu finished her tour of the Columbus art scene Sunday after spending a few days in the arts community that colors the city. She toured the Columbus Idea Foundry, the Wexner Center and took a hard hat tour of the newest part of the Columbus Museum of Art that is still under construction, and she was able to gain a better sense of what the community was like and its place in Columbus. “Columbus is just thriving,” Chu said, according to the Dispatch. “And the arts here aren’t off by themselves in a silo. The civic leaders and the artists, they’re all engaged. There are lots of conversations and collaborations.”
