Beer, lederhosen and more beer: Oktoberfest
Beginning Friday, the fairgrounds are set to become a sea of lederhosen, braids and beer as Oktoberfest begins for the weekend. For 49 years, with the Schmidt family, Oktoberfest has been a key part of the fall celebration with keg tapping, cream puffs and more. Keep an eye out for free pumpkin cookies too, they’re out there. This year there will be a new craft beer garten and a new winegarten.
