Chris Jamison advances to the final 8

Columbus could soon be home to a winner of “The Voice.” Capital University student Chris Jamison has moved on into the Final 8 in the competition after singing “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and was voted by viewers to stay on the show. His rendition of the song was one of the most downloaded songs from “The Voice” this week on iTunes. He’s a junior marketing major, but has taken the semester off of school so that he can compete in “The Voice.”
