Grand Illumination
Downtown lights up tonight with the Grand Illumination of Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile. Holiday activities start at 5:00 p.m. with the ceremony and light show, featuring more than 200,000 LED lights, taking place around 6:00 p.m. The lights will continue to be a part of Columbus until Jan. 25, when the NHL All Star Game is held at Nationwide Arena.
