Hitchcocktober begins with ‘Vertigo’
Through the month of October, The Gateway Film Center and Studio 35 are pairing up to present Hitchcocktober, which logically showcases Alfred Hitchcock films. The suspenseful movie maker celebration is a yearly event for the Gateway, but this year, they are sharing the event with Studio 35 in an attempt to celebrate not only Hitchcock but also independent cinema. The celebration begins Wednesday with “Vertigo” at Studio 35, and through the month the cinemas are set to show “Strangers on a Train,” “Rear Window” and other favorites.
