Simon Winchester is a best selling author and is set to read from his latest book “The Men Who United the States: America’s Explorers, Inventors, Eccentrics and Mavericks, and the Creation of One Nation, Indivisible.” This book looks at the very first men who dove head first into the country, discovering, exploring and creating. How did the country get to be the way it was? Who characterizes the nation? Winchester introduces people from coast to coast, and his book explains how the United States really came to be.
His Thurber House reading is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Columbus Museum of Art.
