Sports Illustrated photog in Cbus for lecture
Famed photographer Joel Grimes who has worked with Sports Illustrated, Nikon, Sony, Red Bull and many others. He is set to stop in Columbus Friday for a lecture at Midwest Photo Exchange at 7 p.m. Grimes’ lecture includes talk about marketing his photographs, lighting, techniques and what it means to him to be an artist. To him “there is no face on the planet that is the same, and my vision as an artist is to capture that individual uniqueness through the creative photographic process.” He is known for traveling the country for workshops to teach young and emerging artists.
