College football coaches make a ton of money and that’s not a surprise to anyone. But who makes the most? Big Ten coaches might make up four of the top ten highest paid coaches, but Nick Saban holds the no. 1 spot. Alabama doles out (in total) $7,160,187 to Saban for leading the Crimson Tide. (Really that’s not a surprise either.) Ohio State’s Urban Meyer is at no. 6 making a total payment of $4,536,640. The other Big Ten coaches that sit in the top ten are Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio, Penn State’s James Franklin and Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz.
