CBJ’s Dubinsky added to injured list
The list of injured players for the Columbus Blue Jackets is growing, and Brandon Dubinsky is the newest addition to that roster. He had abdominal surgery in Philadelphia Wednesday morning and is set to be out for six weeks. His injury is just the latest in a string of unfortunate incidents for the team. Left wing Boone Jenner broke his left hand, right wing Nathan Horton has a hurt back, defenseman Ryan Murray has a knee injury and forward Brian Gibbons is hurt but details haven’t been released. “It’s a big blow,” Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards said, according to the Dispatch. “But I feel good about this group. We’d like to have Brandon in the lineup, but I think everyone deals with injuries at different times in the season. We’ve just got to deal with an injury right now.”
