First ever: OSU at no. 16 in College Football Playoff ranking

For the first time ever, a group is sitting down and taking a look at the top football teams that will head to the inaugural College Football Playoffs. Ohio State has taken the no. 16 slot. In case any have forgotten, the team is, 6-1, this season after a loss to Virginia Tech. The top four (in order) are: Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn and at no. 4 Ole Miss. The committee isn’t just football gurus, but features 12 men and women who have different back grounds including former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as well as athletic directors from schools across the country.
