LaQuinton Ross heading to Italy for pro league
LaQuinton Ross showed up a few pounds too heavy at the NBA Draft Combine, didn’t perform at the Lakers Vegas Summer League, he is now off to Italy to play in the professional league in Europe. According to Eleven Warriors, Ross has signed with Italy’s Victoria Libertas and will be following former teammate Amedeo Della Valle. This go round they won’t be teammates, but competitors.
Can finally say I’m super happy for @qross2011 comin to play in Italy. Can’t wait to play against you. #DreamBig

After his failed attempt to get drafted, the jump to Europe makes sense. The move isn’t all the shocking counting in his inconsistency at times out weighed his strengths resulting in wildly sporadic versions of the tall forward.
