Noah Spence back on Buckeye field following failed drug test
Noah Spence will be back this weekend after a three-game suspension that began during the Orange Bowl game against Clemson. His suspension stemmed from a failed drug test when he tested positive for ecstasy. Originally he had been suspended for a year, but his family appealed the decision, and argued Spence had taken the drug unknowingly when handed a drink at a party. With Spence returning to the defensive line, it could very well be one of Urban Meyer’s best. “(Spence is) an exceptional player,” Meyer said Tuesday a teleconference. “I know myself and his family are very anxious to see him play. He’s been on scout team and we’re very anxious to get him going.” Spence is also looking at possible NFL prospects at the end of the year, high prospects.
