Most Buckeyes are already gearing up for the long anticipated first kickoff this fall. The end-zone flexing Carlos Hyde will not be there though, a force that carried the team through many games. The running back that has been touted as being his replacement went into wrist surgery early Saturday morning, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported. The report said Ezekiel Elliott’s injury was minor and he had a pin inserted into his wrist, but would be back in practice by Thursday. When back, his contact might be limited though.
