Following Ohio State’s win, they ended up dropping in the AP poll to no. 23. Granted, a win against Kent State isn’t exactly like taking down Florida State, but a win is a win and the Buckeyes were in need of a moral boost following the first home opener loss in years and the first regular season loss since Urban Meyer took the reigns. The Coaches Poll is treating the team a bit better, sliding the Buckeyes in at no. 18.
