Taxpayers doling out $250K for All-Star Game

To promote the 2015 All-Star Game, taxpayers are paying $250,000 and the city council is set to approve that at Monday’s meeting for the Jan. 25 game. The event itself is supposed to bring in $12 million in revenues and $50 million in media exposure, the Dispatch reported.
