The hockey gods are angry, the injured CBJ list is growing
The injured list for the Blue Jackets is growing, and quickly. Tuesday, the team saw another lost game following goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky’s broken finger that left him on the bench. Tuesday’s game against the Senators took Center Artem Anisimov off the ice in the second period in what looked like was a concussion. Defenseman James Wisniewski also broke his finger. Most of the season has been played without the help of the starting forward line and forwards Brandon Dubinsky, Nathan Horton, Boone Jenner and Matt Calvert are all out with injuries and the Blue Jackets haven’t caught a break from their wilting lineup. “Whether I’ve done something, or somebody has done something to the hockey gods … I’ve never seen anything like this,” coach Todd Richards said, according to the Dispatch. “It seems like every time we play a game, somebody is getting hurt.”
