The Airborne Toxic Event at the Newport
The Airborne Toxic Event is heading to the Newport Tuesday night along with opener In The Valley Below. Catch the band’s blend of orchestral sounds and rock (they’ve frequently played with symphonies). The group was named after the second chapter in Don DeLillo’s postmodern novel “White Noise,” which is called the Airborne Toxic Event. Just this month, the group announced the newest album “Dope Machines” is in the works and released the single off the fourth studio album “Wrong.”
