There’s an app for that
Dublin Arts Council has launched a new app that takes users on a treasure hunt of the city’s public art. The app comes from Wherigo and is a “reality tour” of the city’s public art installations that uses GPS to take users from piece to piece, while giving them the option of listening to commentary from the artists. Guess that means its time to break out the Indian Jones outfit and start treasure hunting – maybe start with the saga Dublin’s missing (but returned) “tree-climber” statue.
