Saturday: National Mead Day
National Mead Day sounds like Columbus’ kind of holiday and Brothers Drake Meadery is (of course) celebrating with fervor. All day long they will have food, coffee, music and lots and lots of mead. Taste of Belgium and Cafe Brioso are graciously providing their edible goods to the cause and the meadery will be giving out the waffles and coffee beginning at 11 a.m, according to Crave. Other bars and restaurants will be celebrating the grand holiday Saturday.
