‘I Believe I can Fly’ – right off the FMMF lineup

After a flurry of band and sponsor cancellations along with social media backlash, fledgling Fashion Meets Music Fest has pulled the plug on its most controversial act. R. Kelly was to perform as a headliner at the Aug. 29 festival opener. This is the latest blow for the start-up festival. It has seen the withdraw of local radio station sponsor WCBE 90.5FM along with local bands Damn the Witch Siren and Saintseneca ditching the fest.
