Columbus Brewing wins gold
Columbus Brewing Company has won gold. In the Great American Beer Festival, pretty much the Olympics of beer, Columbus Brewing Company outdid the competition and wowed more than 200 judges. Creeper took gold in the Imperial India Pale Ale category and Bohdi won bronze for the India Pale Ale. It is by no means an easy feat to beat out all the other brewers who flock to Denver for the three-day event. Beer lovers also head to the festival (one of the largest ticketed beer fests) for the range of 2000 different American beers.
