Officially open, Fox in the Snow Cafe is serving up pastries and coffee in Italian Village. After renovating the cafe with large windows, community and individual tables and training baristas to whip up coffee creations, the cafe is now open Tuesday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Fox in the Snow Cafe, coming to Italian Village
Fox in the Snow Cafe (a name inspired the Belle and Sebastian song) had originally planned for a summer opening, but since fall just hit Columbus, it seems to be moving toward opening in the fall. The cafe, set for Italian Village, is intended to be a bakery with high end goods as well as a third wave coffee shop. Owners Jeff Excell and Lauren Culley are no strangers to coffee-bakery duos and had already headed a shop in Brooklyn. In the past few days, they have finished off the kitchen and set up the bar.
