Italian Fest to celebrate culture + food

Italian Festival kicks off Friday night and continues through the weekend. Yearly about 35,000 show up to taste the food (Taste of Italy), listen to music and learn about the culture. There will be a Bocce Ball competition, recipe contests and other events throughout the weekend. The Columbus Italian parade begins Saturday at 11 a.m. through the Short North and of course, heads through Italian Village. Guests will get a chance to see Italian dancers, classic cars and a marching band head through the streets of Columbus.
