LaRosa’s has been a long time favorite for Cincinnati dwellers, but come to central Ohio and the family friendly Italian pizza joint is no where to be found. Franchise owner Brandon Salamone is changing that. “I’m originally from Cincinnati. That’s where I was born and raised. I grew up on LaRosa’s. It was my favorite food growing up,” he said. He has a personal attachment to the chain and to the pizza that he’s grown up on. “To be able to bring LaRosa’s as a part of my childhood and my Cincinnati background to Columbus is pretty exciting,” he said.

The Dublin LaRosa’s will be the first franchise in central Ohio and Salamone plans to expand the LaRosa’s chain to all of Columbus following the Dublin debut. In addition to the pizza there will also be appetizers, pasta, wings calzones and other options. “It’s absolutely an Italian family experience. We are so much more than just pizza,” he said.

As the famed chain is making it’s way toward Columbus (with a scheduled opening date of Nov. 24) people in Columbus have started to get antsy for the Cincinnati pizza. Some have even talked about camping out the night before the opening to get the first taste.
