Bring on the beignets, Early Bird food truck opens
For their debut, Early Bird food truck is setting up at the Indianola Church of Christ in Clintonville. The truck is set to sell beignet-style doughnuts along with beignets with filling and One Line coffee. Early Bird is scheduled to be open from 7 to 11 a.m. during the week and then on Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. with the somewhat permanent location at the church.

More donuts: pastry food truck opening in fall
A dough-filled food truck is set to open near Ohio State’s campus next month. The Early Bird is planning on specializing in beignet-style donuts, hand pies and coffee (which sounds like a good mix on campus). Customers can even customize the donuts to their specific tastes, picking what the pastries are filled with, and its opening days will be spent at 2141 Indianola Ave. following the planned Oct. 27 opening date.
