The competition for the Stone Brewing facility east of the Mississippi might get extended for a bit. The three finalists have been announced with Columbus, Richmond, Virginia, and Norfolk, Virginia still in the running, and the brewers said they would have a decision within 60 days. Here we are at day 27, and the company has said they are going to need a bit more time. “While we were hoping to announce our decision by the end of the summer, it seems that the process will take a bit longer,” spokeswoman Sabrina LoPiccolo told Columbus Business First via email.
