A new study from Ohio State shows that the more frequently a child eats fast food in fifth grade, the worse that same child is going to be doing in school in 8th grade. Basically, the kids chowing down on burgers and drive-thru fare showed lower test score gains than kids who were able to more often avoid that stuff. Those behind the study are not saying that parents should eliminate all fast foods from a child’s diet, but limits might be a good thing to consider.
