Wendy’s + Chipotle. Customers can build their own burger
Some attributing it to the “Chipotle effect,” two Wendy’s locations are trying a build it yourself method similar to the burrito gurus at Chipotle. Both locations at 739 Bethel Road and 5505 W. Broad St. will be trying this method, allowing for more control over sandwiches including what bun will top off a burger. According to Columbus Business First, a spokesperson said the build your own style would be “very limited operational test.”
