Gahanna residents aren’t too keen on the changes that have been happening across their city. Last year an income tax increase was been put on the ballet twice in six months after no changes for thirty years, according to the Dispatch. The increase was shot down both times by residents. Problems have seemed to strike the area with plans to close the pools and cut funding for the firework show and criticism is mounting. Facebook groups have started called “Take Back Gahanna,” in an effort to have some sort of change in the city concerning the budget.
