The battle for the Democratic Convention is mustering on as Columbus frantically waves its arms for attention. The capital city is a lot of things, but it still longs for one: to be on the national radar. The hopes aren’t dead yet for those dreams, and Columbus could become a tiny blip on a giant map with Democratic Convention coming to the city. While no final decision has been made, Wednesday morning city officials found out a site selection committee is planning a stop in Columbus next month or in August and there are also rumors that Columbus is the Clintons city of choice for the convention, according to NBC4.
