Your sweet tooth seeks government approval
The state tree might not be the only official buckeye in the state. Lawmakers will be hearing testimony on a bill today that will establish buckeyes (aka the most delicious chocolate and peanut butter creation) as the official state candy. The bill was pushed forward with help from Piqua Catholic School fourth graders, who gathered 300 signatures. And while the bill might just be sitting on Capital Hill, but I’m about to take my afternoon snack break and enjoy some (potentially) government approved candy.
