Could both Kasich and Portman run for president?

Could two Ohioans be running for the presidency? The Hill thinks so. The Washington D.C. paper has named both Senator Rob Portman and Governor John Kasich on “The 65 people who might run for president in 2016.” The current Ohio governor who has also served in the House and has done work as an investment banker. Portman already has had White House experience when he worked under the first Bush administration, has served in the House and has been considered for a vice president nomination in the past. Here’s the hitch. Both Kasich and Portman are Republicans, meaning two same party members within the same state could be running at the same time. That could get awkward. Read more
