Democrats lagging in polls

It was what many Democrats had feared, following Ed FitzGerald’s downfall. His name sits at the top of the ballot and might have hurt the lower democratic candidates (although that might not be the reason). Republican incumbents seem to have the upper hand from governor John Kasich, to attorney general Mike DeWine, to auditor Dave Yost and secretary of state John Husted. Kasich is ahead by 28 points which would be the second largest landslide in 200 years. FitzGerald might not be the cause though. The real reason is it seems democratic voters haven’t gone to the polls and cast their vote, the Dispatch reported.
