Ex-representative gets out of prison early
W. Carlton Weddington was once a state representative for Ohio, but has spent the last two years in the prison for bribery, election falsification and an ethics violation. Originally he had been sentenced to three years, but was released Thursday which is about ten months early. He said during his time in prison he grew as a person and also plans to advocate for prison reform since he now has first-hand experience in what it is actually like. The judge who released him expressed high hopes for the former representative.
