Both Huntington Park and the new court house were constructed under his watch. Don Brown, the county’s administrator, announced he would be retiring, effective following his last day Oct. 31. According to the Dispatch, he said he planned to spend his first few months of retirement with his grandchildren and renew his public accountant’s license. (With the latter he might be failing to retire completely.)
