Hero’s remains return home

The remains of an Spc. Joseph W. Riley, a decorated paratrooper from Columbus, were brought home yesterday in an honorable transfer ceremony at Rickenbacker Air Base. Riley was one of two American soldiers killed by a suicide bomber on Nov. 24 in Kabul. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday.
