Kasich supportive of Ohio’s same-sex marriage ban
Monday’s Supreme Court decision to keep same-sex marriage laws was a win for many LGBT communities, but governor John Kasich told WOSU that he is still supportive of the state’s ban on same-sex marriage. The Supreme Court ruling earlier this week means that 60 percent of Americans are part of a state that allows gay marriage. Now though, Kasich has said he is focused on matters currently at hand. Ohio’s ban is still under appeal at the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal.
