Ed FitzGerald has finally caught a break. The Ohio Supreme Court has blocked the Ohio Republican Party from digging into the democratic gubernatorial candidate, or at least temporarily. Really though, FitzGerald has already been named to more than a fair share of most disastrous campaigns of the year, and a public records lawsuit almost seems unnecessary as the candidate counts down the last days to the election. What the Republican Party was after was his key-card swipe records from his county property. The county thus far has denied the requests saying releasing them would endanger FitzGerald.
