Opinion: Hello, Columbus

Matt Bai, political columnist for YahooNews, has some reasons why Democrats should choose Columbus for their next convention. But he says, “it’s not for the electoral votes.”

Columbus is one of three possibilities for the party (New York* and Philadelphia being the other two) and Bai says its obvious that Columbus should be picked because its the best strategic choice. He says, “Columbus represents a far more interesting choice than either of the other finalists. It may not have Philadelphia’s history or Brooklyn’s music scene, but it’s well on its way to becoming something like the Philadelphia or Brooklyn of the next American age”.
