If Ohio Senator Rob Portman doesn’t see someone tackling the big issues (like the economy, the biggest of all issues) for the 2016 presidential election, he will put his senator reelection aside and put his name into the running for president. He’s still waiting to see who’s name crops up in the bid though. In 2012 he was considered to run as vice president with Mitt Romney.
