Rally with Mayor Coleman for DNC to Cbus
Mayor Michael Coleman is ready to rally. Bringing in the Democratic National Convention isn’t just a small goal of his; in previous interviews, he has said the next presidential election could once again hinge on Ohio’s vote, and with the Republican National Convention hitting Cleveland, the state could swing red in the next election. This week, the delegation from the DNC is scoping out Columbus as a possible location and Mayor Coleman will be throwing a rally to amp up the excitement and support in Columbus to show the DNC how much Columbus really, really does want to host the convention. “Rally for Columbus 2016” will have both the mayor and former governor Ted Strickland hosting along with other politicians and officials, and the public is invited to join, Columbus Underground reported.
