Rob Portman won’t be part of scramble for president

The slot for a Republican candidate for the presidency is wide open and Ohio Senator Rob Portman had rumors swirling around him that he might run. Monday though, those rumors were squashed and Portman released a statement saying he would not run for the position because he could not effectively be a senator and campaign at the same time.
